2016 Central Washington State Fair Sets Attendance Record In Final Weekend

The Central Washington State Fair has come and gone for another year, but not before a record number of attendees passed through the turnstiles.

While this year's fair attendance was down a bit from last year, the crowd on the final Saturday was the biggest of all-time. Total attendance for 2016 shook out at 312,191 (down from  in 2015's 319,351) but Saturday's tally of 59,551 smashed the previous record of 57,261 which was set only last year - also on the final Saturday of the fair's 10-day run.
