5 Things To Do In Yakima If You Don’t Want To Watch The Super Bowl

Super Bowl Sunday is this weekend (Feb. 7) and every single bar in town will have a party. I have been invited to at least 15 house parties for Sunday. But some people have zero desire to watch the Super Bowl.  If you are one of these few people, here are some ideas for you.

1.  Take your kids to the elk feeding station up White Pass. The roads are good right now and the elk are coming down. This would be fun and safe. You might even see a bronco or two.

2.  Go bowling with your family and have them put the TV on something other than the football game.

3.  Go to the trampoline park. You can have fun and get a little fit while you are doing it.

4.  Play 'Mine Craft!' I love this stupid game.

5.  Go fishing anywhere. I love football, but if I can go fishing then watching sports is out!
