Season 14 of VH1 Classic's That Metal Show rolls on this weekend with the return of Ace Frehley. The former KISS guitarist has been on the show before, but this will be the first appearance by former Grand Funk Railroad vocalist/guitarist Mark Farner. The guest musician is Alice Cooper guitarist Nita Strauss.

Frehley talks about KISS' induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, being onstage with his former bandmates and his frustration that the original KISS lineup did not perform at the ceremony.

Farner reminisces about the early days of Grand Funk Railroad, including a time the band had the opportunity to open for Led Zeppelin and how blown away he was by their performance.

In addition to displaying her guitar skills as the episode's guest musician, Strauss discusses being discovered while playing the national anthem at an L.A. Kiss football game and her upcoming solo album.

This week’s “Rank” segment finds Frehley ranking the KISS albums he performed on. In the “Throwdown,” the debut Led Zeppelin album goes up against the debut Black Sabbath album. “Take It Or Leave It” returns, as the hosts give their opinions on the recent announcement of the retirement of Twisted Sister.

This week’s episode of That Metal Show debuts Saturday, April 4 at 9PM ET/PT on VH1 Classic, with a repeat at 11PM ET/PT.
