In the backlash over a Minnesota dentist's admitted killing of a beloved lion in Zimbabwe, Delta, American and United Airlines have announced they will no longer ship big-game animal carcasses, or "trophies," after their kills in other countries.As of Monday, Delta, American and United Airlines had banned hunters from transporting their "trorphies" from other countries, and Air France, KLM, Iberia, IAG Cargo, Singapore Airlines and Qantas were considering following suit.

The uproar stems from Walter Palmer's illegal killing of Cecil, a 13-year-old lion that was a major attraction in Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park.
