Be careful what you ask Alexa for, kids.

As a former Amazonian, I have a lot of Amazon-related things show up in my social media feeds.

A lot of it is really cool stuff, mostly things the company is doing in Seattle and the surrounding area. Things like cashier-less shopping. No lines, seriously.

One of the really cool products at Amazon that you can use right here at home in Yakima is the Echo, which is the department I worked in awhile before leaving Amazon to come to KATS-FM.

Every now and again we would get direct calls from customers for various strange behavior from Alexa, the app that helps you play music, turn off your smart home devices, order food, etc.

Yeah, that was bad. As a father of five daughters that could easily be misunderstood by Alexa, that terrifies me.

Call me overprotective, but as a parent you would think that you could set up a no-porn filter on Alexa responses.

After searching through the Amazon help section for a few minutes, I couldn't find an easy answer. In which case, I would suggest you try and just call customer service and they can track down unanswered questions much faster through their system.

For some really helpful tips, though, Buzzfeed has as usual provided some starter life hacks for you to try.
