Local bikers already had warm hearts, but after Saturday's Fourth Annual Charity Chili Cookoff, they probably have some serious heartburn going on. The gathering at Owens Cycle Inc. on North First Street drew about 200 attendees and raised $2,600 that will go to the Yakima's Veteran Food Bank and to buy toys for Toppenish's state Department of Social and Health Services office.

Chili cooks brought their finest -- and their fieriest -- concoctions to share. Santa even got in on the fun.
