Is Steven Tyler's next collaboration actually going to be with Caitlyn Jenner on a remake of Aerosmith's 1987 song "Dude Looks Like a Lady"? The 67-year-old retired Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete appeared to confirm the sessions in a new Instagram photo, calling this Tyler-sung No. 14 hit "one of my favorite songs!"

Entertainment Weekly surmised that Jenner was "poking fun at herself," rather than actually working on a new duet. The 67-year-old reality star, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, revealed her identity as a trans woman in 2015.

Jenner reportedly ran into Tyler on Sunday while attending the 17th-annual Starkey Hearing Foundation Awards Gala in Minneapolis, where she talked about her journey.

“I met him once briefly, but I’m sitting there thinking I have to go say 'hi,'" Jenner later told Jimmy Kimmel (via People magazine). “So, I go backstage, and I told him, ‘I’ve had some really bad times. … I always used to take your song, “Dude Looks Like a Lady,” and that became my theme song.”

Jenner said Tyler was gracious in accepting the complement. "He loved it," she added. "He hugged me and said we got to get together. He was great."

Tyler joined with Aerosmith bandmate Joe Perry in a famous reworking of "Walk This Way" with Run-D.M.C. in the '80s. Since then, he's performed duets with Motley Crue ("Slice of Your Pie" and "Sticky Sweet" from 1989's Dr. Feelgood), Santana ("Just Feel Better" from 2005's All That I Am), a series of country stars on 2016's We're All Somebody From Somewhere and even the late comedian Sam Kinison (1989's "Wild Thing").
