Attacks On Beirut and Paris Remind Us … to Reload

I am very sad for what has happened in our world. Until now, the most memorable terrorist attack I can think of was the 9/11 attack on American soil. These people thought that we were vulnerable enough to take out some of our Americans with our own planes. Now we have more attacks on other nations, and the terrorists certainly pose a threat to us again. Do we worry? Of course we worry. I am beyond worried. But how can we know when things like this might happen?

People have been saying that terrorists are stupid. How can they terrorists be stupid when they are planning things like this not just weeks in advance, but years in advance? Also, how can you know the thoughts of someone you don't know? Do you suspect everyone?

Do we trust in our government to keep us safe? I do trust in our military to keep us safe without a question.

But will they be with me and my family on the day that the next attacks happen on American soil? I would like them to be, but I have to count on myself first.

So here is the bottom line. I am going to arm myself. What are you going to do?
