Tom Morello and Chris Cornell reunited onstage at a benefit concert in Seattle on Friday night. The Rage Against the Machine guitarist and Soundgarden frontman collaborated on a variety of cover songs including a ferocious take on Bruce Springsteen’s “The Ghost of Tom Joad,’ as well as tracks from Morello’s The Nightwatchman and the pair's former band Audioslave, including amazing romps through ‘Cochise,’ ‘I’m the Highway’ and ‘Doesn’t Remind Me.’ Check out the fan shot video of the event above.

The concert, which took place at El Corazon in Seattle, raised funds for Morello’s 15Now organization. The goal of 15Now aims to raise the national minimum wage to $15 per hour. During the show Chris Cornell said, “I admire Tom a lot and he is one of the few people I have ever met that actually walks the walk and has always been consistent since the day I met him.” Cornell also added, “It’s an honor to be here. Thanks to the sweating Tom Morello for generously sharing the stage with me. It’s cool to stand next to you and play music again.” Later in the show Morello shared, “Together, Chris Cornell and I are 100 years old, but you’d never know it.”

The benefit show also featured Cornell’s solo take on John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ and a mash-up of U2’s and Metallica’s ‘One.’ Morello also teased a bit of Rage’s “Sleep Now in the Fire” before he was joined by Cornell onstage. The two ended their set with an epic sing-a-long version of Woodie Guthrie’s ‘This Land Is Your Land.”
