I am originally from Los Angeles, but grew up in Edmonton, Alberta. In between I spent two years of my childhood in Montana. One in Great Falls and the other in Havre. My mom married a Canadian when I was 9, and we moved to Canada. Because the winters in Edmonton were too damn cold, I moved back to California once I was 21. My radio career has taken me to Casa Grande, Ariz., and to Palm Springs, Fresno and San Luis Obispo, Calif., and back to Edmonton, and Yakima. I play poker, basketball and flag football in my free time. My claim to fame is that my wife Monica is sisters with the former Miss El Salvador 1996, who came in sixth in that year's Miss Universe competition. Of course I think my wife is prettier than her sister! I also have a 12-year-old daughter named Noel who is in junior high and was the fifth-grade champion high jumper.

You Can’t Stream Games At NFL Stadiums
This weekend I went to see the Seahawks and Falcons at Century Link Field. If you listen to the Todd & Andy Show I am actually a Los Angeles Rams fan. That said I still love good professional football and this was lining up to be a great football game so I was excited to see it and it did not disappoint...
Board Games Are Making A Comeback!
My brother likes board games... no, he's obsessed with board games. He has so many that he has multiple versions of some (like Risk and Monopoly) and duplicates of others. If he's at a yard sale, garage sale or thrift store and sees a board game, especially a classic board game intact, he has to have it...
Mom Spends Hundreds On Seahawks Tickets And This Kid Plays Video Games While There Is Action On The Field
My brother and I went to the Seahawks/Falcons game at Century Link Field on Sunday. In the row in front of us there was this lady and her son. The lady was all decked out in Seahawks gear and cheering her brain out and she's probably assuming that she was doing something nice for her teenage son by taking him to a game...
The Seahawks “Touchdown City” Is The Best Fan Experience In Pro Football
I've been to a number of NFL stadiums throughout the league but I have to say the Seahawks "Touchdown City" is the best of them all. Trying to follow your fantasy players but going to a game on the same day? Every game is on a mammoth screen somewhere...
There’s A Hard Cider Tasting Room Right Here In Yakima
While I do love beer, I like hard cider even more. Slowly hard ciders are gaining a bigger and bigger share of the market according to DraftMag.com. Since more apples are grown in Washington than any other state it makes sense that a lot of the great ciders come from Central Washington...
Never Vacuum Gasoline From The Trunk Of Your Car
This morning on the "Freaks" we told you a story about a woman from Titusville, Florida who used a car was vacuum to clean up gasoline from the trunk of her car. Vacuum go boom and it cost the Shuttle Car Wash $500 to repair the damage. You see, gasoline by itself is flammable but not combustible...
Alex Trebek Busts One Off On A Contestant
I've been watching Jeopardy! for decades. Even when I was a little boy back in the late 60's and early 70's when Art Fleming was the host. Obviously being part of the "cool crowd" was never a pre-requisite. The contestants on Jeopardy! are generally braniacs who own the businesses the people in the cool crowd end up working for...
Why Men Have Nipples
Men having nipples seems pretty pointless, especially if you believe we have a creator that made us in his image. I doubt however that the creator was nursing a child. Aside from the male sexual fascination with boobs and nipples the truth is they're just the delivery vehicle for mama's milk...
Cowiche Canyon Doesn’t Serve Their Tortilla Soup Anymore And Now I’m Sad
When I first moved to Yakima in April of 2015 one of the first restaurants I ate at was Cowiche Canyon on the advice of a friend. The food, the atmosphere and the wait staff are so good I think they deserve a Michelin star. I've never had a meal there I didn't thoroughly enjoy...
The “Old Patrol” Delivering Food To Rod’s House
I'm mentally about 15. Unfortunately, no matter what an immature twit I am in my head, it's inside the body of a 52 year old man. I don't even think I look my age but that's probably because I don't have to look at myself all day.
So today we had to deliver the food and cash collected as part of the 10 Deeds in 10 Days charity drive we do with Bill Harris Used cars...
Getting Lost In The YWCA Catacombs While Delivering Food From 10 Deeds In 10 Days
The 2016 version of the 10 Deeds in 10 Days charity drive with Bill Harris Used Cars officially ended on Sunday. Today we got to deliver the food we collected and the cash to the various charities who benefit. One of those charities is the YWCA...
When In The Heck Is Pita Pit Finally Opening Up In Yakima?
Back in April my co-worker John Riggs wrote a blog about 'Pita Pit' opening in the Lee Semon Building near the corner of Yakima Ave and 2nd Street. Initially it was thought the eatery would be open by Mid-August. Then the Yakima Herald wrote an article at the end of August that said Pita Pit would be open sometime between Sept 15th and Oct 3rd...
