George Lucas has been the master of 'Star Wars' since its inception and though spin-off cartoons and games have been the norm for years, the film series seemed done with after six movies. Disney has just purchased Lucasfilm for over four billion dollars, and have just announced that they're planning on a new movie for sometime in 2015.
One of the biggest critical darlings of 2012 has to be Leos Carax's 'Holy Motors,' which is just now hitting America starting with a two screen run in New York. It's slowly going to be coming across the country, and now there's an official trailer for the U.S. And it looks bonkers.
We're excited about 'Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall,' but it seems the production has been kind of leaky. There's a cameo that's been spoiled (we won't spoil it), and there's obviously been youtube footage of the film's shooting (see image and link above). Perhaps they're trying to stem the tide by released the film's synopsis.
Though it's light on footage, the teaser trailer that debuted at New York Comic Con 2012 for the upcoming remake of 'Carrie,' starring Chloe Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore, is pretty awesome. It showcases the wreckage from a Prom night gone bad that has left many dead and wounded.
Looks like the 'Gangster Squad' marketing has recovered from the movie's delay and reshoots, as we're now being bombarded with looks at the film. Now there's five character posters that help show the look and feel of the fillm.
Though fans might not be up for the double (and possible multiple) dipping that the Quentin Tarantino box set 'Tarantino XX: 8-Films' collection represents, it's no surprise that they were able to cut a trailer that makes you want to have a QT movie marathon a couple seconds after it finishes.
