Just to foster the spirit of trust necessary to make students feel comfortable in a learning environment, here's a video of a guy totally tricking his classmates about his identity for an entire semester!
It's Black Friday, and you know what that means -- hiding in your home away from the world while people desperately claw at each other's faces to buy a Wii U for their kid. The madness is not for everybody. Some of us like to eat cold turkey all day and wonder how a person could be so hungover. For those of us who would rather spend time with our TVs watching 'Star Wars' than rioting over discounted athletic socks, we present these Black Friday memes to make you feel like you've made the right choice.
It's that time again. Thanksgiving -- you eat until you're sick, post endless "artsy" photos of your sweet potato gratin on Facebook and drink as much as you can so you can deal with your Uncle Rick. Before descending into pure turkey madness, purvey these memes, and perhaps the memory of them will get you through the annual lecture on what "those politicians up on Capitol Hill" are really "up to."
It's time to officially start panicking that you haven't done any Christmas shopping yet. Sure you have something in mind for mom and dad. But what about for your internet-obsessed brother or your boyfriend who spends more time on Reddit than he does at work? Where are the 2012 Black Friday deals for them?
Here are seven gifts you can give to any lover of memes, internet culture, or just being as completely ironic as possible at all times. Good luck. And good hunting. For gifts. (Click the links below to purchase.)
Yesterday was the day for voting for in our Grumpy Cat Look-Alike Poll. Today is the day for voting for actual elected officials. (And in our Grumpy Cat Look-Look-Alike Poll, because it takes like a second. Seriously.) Here are the best memes about voting we could find, and we even tried to keep in nonpartisan, which was pretty hard, because have you noticed how people on the internet have strong opinions? Enjoy!
As predicted, Hurricane Sandy created one crazy night. Millions without power, explosions, flooding and at least 18 people dead. Don't let your braggedy friends on Facebook convince you this wasn't a big deal. It was crazy. Here are some pics to sum up what happened. Feel free to share your photos in the comments.
Here's a nice, friendly Halloween prank. (We promise there's no Slender Man involved.) A friendly group walked around with candy and a door with a sign on it (advising people to knock, we guess).
Jimmy "Man Who Hates Kids" Kimmel once again asked parents to tell their children that all of their Halloween candy had been eaten. And film it.
So this video might not make you cry, but the story probably will. Michael Ferns, a senior at St. Clairsville High in Clairsville, OH, gave up a touchdown one yard from the end zone so that his teammate, Logan Thompson, whose father died two days before, could score instead.
Now this is the kind of Halloween story we love. TheFW reader Kevin Fritz saw our post on inspirational wheelchair costumes and was, in fact, inspired. He made this awesome costume of Yoshi from 'Mario Kart.'
Videos of old-timey skeleton dances are the best way to get a little spook-ified before Halloween without accidentally soiling yourself. That is a fact -- you can ask anybody. Oh, thanks for asking. Yes, that is a fact. From PBS to Disney and beyond, here are the best skeleton dances EVER to get you into the spirit of Halloween.
