How are you feelin'? I'm married with three kids, love cooking (when I find the time!) and love old video games. I'm a retro nerd who loves to reminisce about the 80s and 90s and am an autism awareness advocate. - PSN, Xbox Live and Wii U, game with me! @johnblueriggs (also on Instagram, Twitter and Pintrest)

What’s The Best Flavor of Snow Cone? [POLL]

One of the things my kids and I look forward to every summer are the snow cones. There's something about shaved ice topped with flavored syrup that can cool you to your core. Play Super Mario’s ‘Star Theme’ on the Piano [VIDEO]

Two of my biggest passions are video games and playing musical instruments, whether I actually know how to play them or not. Combine them both and you have me attempting to play video game music. These ocarinas seem simplified with less holes to play and even came with a book to play some Zelda tunes with music easy enough for anyone to read.

The first thing I couldn't wait to play was 'Zelda's Lullaby'. Here's my first ocarina recital.

Beer Battered Bacon – It’s Not as Good as it Sounds

Over the weekend I was in a beer battering mood. I had it in mind to make beer battered California rolls, which turned out pretty decent, but since I still had some batter left, I decided to beer batter a few more items including bacon. I only wish it would've turned out better.
