Bike Nights is planning a road trip to Ellensburg this week! KSU, (kickstands up) at 5:30 Tuesday and arrive at The Porch, 608 N. Main St., at 6 p.m.! This should be one fantastic ride -- it's always fun to ride through the Yakima River Canyon on a motorcycle!
Summer is coming to an end. It makes me sad because, I love the warm weather and I love yard sales! Every time I turned a corner on Saturday, August 13th, there was a yard sale! I came upon some fantastic deals but, one yard sale caught my eye. I wasn't just one yard sale, it was the entire block of Summitview and 28th in Yakima!
While I was growing up, I always thought that the things I ate all came from the United States of America! I didn't even question the origins of some of the foods that I loved so much -- and still love!
I have always considered myself a good speller. But since I got into radio, I am not that good anymore. I spell everything phonetically, hoping I can say it right over the air. So now I really can't spell that well at all! Everything communicated on the internet by text or via social networking is quick. Like "WTF" or "OMG" or "LOL!" Kids cannot spell at all these days!
Seattle's Rafael Tranquilino and Yakima's Avion treated Downtown Summer Nights to one of the hottest shows of the summer Thursday evening, bringing Latin-spiced rock and gritty blues to North Front Street...
Bike Night's was excellent at Westside Pizza in Yakima! We played some fun games and had a ton of prizes to give away! Summer isn't over yet until we say so, dang it! We have more to go and we have a ton of prizes to give away. Check out the photos from Westside Pizza!
When I was younger, we used to listen to the Police and 'Roxanne!' HA! Every time Sting sang 'Roxanne' we had to take a shot! That was a crazy as it got. In less than 3 minutes everyone was hammered. Quarters was also a big one back in the day!
94.5 KATS-FM and The American Red Cross have teamed up for the 'Rock N' Roll Up Your Sleeve' blood drive! We have several slots still available for you to come and give blood so you can feel good about yourself. You know, 'That good deed for the day!'
The Moxee Hop Festival is always fun, but this year it had a little added star power -- Seattle Seahawks cheerleaders Christian and Melanie hung out with us all afternoon to sign autographs and pose for pictures...
