Todd Lyons

My name is Todd E. Lyons. On the radio you probably know me as “Todd E. Lyons, Esquire.” Every morning, hundreds of women wake up with me. I have shared the airwaves in the mornings (6 to 9) with you since 1998, and look forward to it every day. I was born in Seattle, the son of a sharecropper. My family and I moved to the “Fruit Bowl of the Nation” when I was a wee lad of only 7. I spent my formative years in the West Valley of Yakima, indoctrinated in public school. I became keenly familiar with the “special” desk while attending Apple Valley Elementary. The teachers referred to it as the “isolation booth,” but I called it the “special desk.” Most of what I know today, however, can be credited to the “School of Hard Knocks.” I am extremely fortunate to work on the very radio station I grew up listening to. I loved listening to KATS so much when I was younger that I not only was a client, I became an employee! If you ever see me stumbling about this great valley of ours, please give me a shout. I would love to talk with you and find out what you think about 94.5 KATS!

Comedian Craig Gass Asks Seahawk Russell Wilson a Crazy Question

Last week I had the pleasure(!) of having comedian Craig Gass in the studio with me all week leading up to the a.) Seahawks season opener last Thursday against Green Bay and b.) his weekend residence at the Laugh Lounge.

Many of his stories, both on-air and onstage, were Seahawks-centric. Sometimes, it's hard to believe the number of crazy stories he has to tell about his run-ins with famous athletes.

Well, here is a video Craig recently uploaded to YouTube showing that, indeed, he speaks the truth!

Week #1 of the N.F.L. season wraps-up tonight with a double-header when the New York Giants travel to Detroit and the San Diego Chargers head to Arizona for a pair of Monday Night Football games airing on ESPN.

While there were a few surprises (New England's loss to Miami, anyone?) maybe the most unbelievable feat occurred in the season-opening game in Seattle on Thursday night.

Craig Gass and Aaron Bennett Sing ‘Baby Got Back’ in First-Ever Christopher ‘Walken-Off’

Earlier this week on "The Big Show," I challenged Craig Gass and Aaron Bennett of Manic Thunder Comedy Improv Troupe to the first ever "Walken-Off."

They chose to tackle Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back" as if it were sung by legendary actor Christopher Walken.

What happened next was not of this world and must be heard to be believed.

I don't catch myself staring at other men's crotches, but what has been seen cannot be unseen. This week's cover of Sports Illustrated made it almost impossible to miss getting a glimpse of Seahawks QB Russell Wilson's 12th Man.
