Todd Lyons
Todd E. Lyons Esquire has been on this station longer than he can remember, except for that time he remembered.
The 4th single released from Apocalyptic Love - the second studio album by former Guns N' Roses lead guitarist Slash. The album features Slash's band, consisting of vocalist Myles Kennedy, bassist Todd Kerns, and drummer Brent Fitz (collectively referred to as "Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators").
Here at the radio station, we share the building with five other stations.
A talk radio station (1280-AM/99.3-FM KIT), a sports station (AM-1460 ESPN) a top 40 station (107.3-FM KFFM)and a country music station (92.9-FM KDBL).
With so many egos and wacky DJ's congregated in one small space, we tend to pull each others leg and have some fun with each other to keep each other on our toes.
This is what I created in the bathroom of the country station yesterday.
Despite the fact that scantily clad women being naughty can be found for free almost anywhere on the internet, some people are apparently still willing to pay for it. Hence, the success of the video franchise "Girls Gone Wild."
The brainchild of Joe Francis, Girls Gone Wild has had to declare bankruptcy but not because horny dudes aren't willing to part with their money.
Apparently Mr. Francis has a $10 million debt he owes Las Vegas mogul Steve Wynn and the franchise.
Here is the official statement from G.G.W.:
I'm no 'Dear, Abby,' but if it were me, I'd tell the guy to buy a box of rubbers, but that's just me.
Patricia Krentcil, infamously known as "the tanning mom" for taking her five-year-old daughter into a tanning bed, did not endanger her child.
At least, according to a grand jury that refused to indict her of those charges in New Jersey on yesterday.
Sometimes grown men cry. This is one of those times.
Trouble seems to find some people more than others. Puddle of Mudd lead singer is DEFINITELY one of those people.
Pasco, Washington native Jeremy Bonderman gets the start for the Seattle Mariners today when the M's (2-1) take on A.L. West favorite Los Angeles Angels (0-3) in Cactus League play.
With St. Patrick's Day falling on a weekend this year (Sunday, March 17th) most restaurants, bars and pubs will be teeming with revelers who are all Irish for, at least, one day.
As the grandson of an Irishman myself whose family considers this holiday one of the top of the calendar year, I have certainly spent my fair share partying every March 17th.
Here are some of my top picks in Yakima to spend your holiday at:
It is hard to believe that it has been a decade since the horrible event that occurred on this date back in 2003 when 100 fans of the band Great White were killed in a tragic fire at "The Station" night club in Rhode Island.
It has been awhile since we have had a massive rock show roll into town and it's high time we got our fix!
While many in the Yakima Valley will partake in the annual 'Red Wine and Chocolate' event this weekend, if you're anything like me, a good brew and a bag of cookies is a bit more affordable.
