Nintendo will be showing off Super Smash Bros. for Wii U at E3 this year, and may even introduce integrated action figures to the game during the convention. E3 will not be the only place to get an early look at Super Smash Bros., however. Nintendo has teamed up with Best Buy to bring us the Super Smash Bros. Smash-Fest, allowing players to go head-to-head in the demo version of the game.

On June 11 from 4 to 9 PM, and on June 14 from 12 to 5 PM, Best Buy stores across the country will host events featuring playable demos of SSB. The demo will be identical to the one shown at E3, and features four of the game’s 30 playable characters. More than 100 Best Buy locations will take part in the Smash-Fest, and players are urged to check out the full list of participating stores on the Best Buy website.

The first 70 Smash-Fest attendees who pre-order the game for either Wii U or Nintendo 3DS at each event will receive a collectible Super Smash Bros. gold coin. Everyone who pre-orders at the event will receive a $5 Best Buy Rewards Zone Certificate upon picking up the game.

Nintendo recently announced details about their Super Smash Bros. Invitational Tournament at E3, building even more excitement for the already hotly anticipated game. Smash-Fest will give players outside the Los Angeles area a chance to check out the action before Super Smash Bros. for Wii U launches later this year.
