Beware: Counterfeit $100 Bills Being Passed In Washington
Police in Centralia, WA (south of Olympia) are warning people in that area to be on the lookout for counterfeit $100 bills.
The phony currency has been passed off at a number of businesses in that area. They are distinguishable by pink and/or red Asian symbols and/or characters on the note. So far, only denominations of 100 have been discovered to be fake.
Since money can be circulated quite rapidly, it's probably not a bad idea to keep your eyes open for these bogus Benjamins, even here in Central Washington.
