Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack and Asking Alexandria guitarist Ben Bruce are set to appear in a new movie as what else ... musicians. The two rockers will appear in the upcoming film American Satan, which was penned by Sumerian Records founder Ash Avildsen.

The movie, which is set in the rock world, centers on a young rock band who gave up college to relocate to Los Angeles, hoping to explore their dreams of becoming superstars on the Sunset Strip.

The film's synopsis on IMDB reads, "A young rock band, half from England and half from the US, drop out of college and move to the Sunset Strip to chase their dreams. Living in a van, their passion and talent exceed their means to survive. An enigmatic stranger sees their true potential and emotionally manipulates them during a time of weakness. Caught in the middle of a Faustian deal, their music and controversial altercations end up influencing society beyond anything this century has seen, but can they take back control of their destiny before it's too late?"

Biersack will reportedly be playing a character named Johnny, while Bruce has signed on to play Leo. It's assumed that the two rockers will be two of the band members. At present, the film is in pre-production and the rest of the cast has not been announced.

The transition to acting shouldn't be too much of a stretch. Both musicians are familiar with their musical roles and have appeared in music videos before. In addition, Biersack pursued acting as a teen before his music career took off and he was actually cast in a TV pilot and a few commercials, including a spot for the Montana Meth Project. Not to mention, he did a rather convincing job delivering a dramatic fan fiction reading for Loudwire, which can be viewed below. Stay tuned for more details on American Satan as the film comes together.
