Black Veil Brides Push Back New Album to January 2013

Black Veil Brides fans will have to wait a little longer to hear new music from the band. The group has revealed that their follow-up to ‘Set the World on Fire’ needs a little more seasoning, so therefore they’ve decided to push back the release from Oct. 30 to January 2013.

In a posting at their website, it states, “They are working on something big and are trying out many things for the record that will be brand new and that no one would expect so they definitely need more time so bring their project to its perfection.
Any tour dates that were expected to be in winter 2012/2013 need to be postponed as well. Trust me, it will be epic and worth the wait.”

The group members definitely aren’t ones to rush things, and put their best efforts toward perfection. Singer Andy Biersack told Artisan News, “I feel like you can always grow and get bigger. I don’t think there’s ever going to be a point where we feel just alright with what we are doing … We always want to improve ourselves and up our game and become better as musicians and entertainers. I think that anytime you become complacent, that’s when you sort of lose everything that was exciting about your band in the first place, so we just want to keep reaching for the brass ring everyday.”

Speaking back in June, Biersack said of the new disc, “We’ve got 20 to 25 songs written and we’re narrowing it down now. John Feldmann [Goldfinger] is producing it. It’s going to be more of a punk rock record than anything we’ve done before. It’s Social Distortion meets Metallica.”

Black Veil Brides enjoyed a solid run for their ‘Set the World on Fire’ disc, and even extended things a little further than expected by serving up the song ‘Unbroken’ for the ‘Avengers Assemble‘ soundtrack earlier this summer. The track did well enough that it had to be retired to Loudwire’s Cage Match Hall of Fame.
