In a new interview, Blur bassist Alex James said that the feuding between his band and Oasis, who have historically been adversarial, has quieted down, saying that Blur frontman Damon Albarn and Noel Gallagher, formerly of Oasis, are "quite good friends." Check out the entire interview here.

James spoke about the bands' relationship and said he hopes Oasis reunites: "Liam's come out and said ‘Lonesome Street’ is his favorite song of the year, God bless him. And Damon and Noel are quite good friends now. So, I think, let's focus on the positives. It's lovely that it's got a happy ending. I hope they get back together. They can support us."

Whether or not that last sentence was a subtle jab at Oasis, implying that they're only good enough to open for Blur, is up for debate. Regardless, that might not be a problem, as it still seems like an Oasis reunion is still more unlikely than it is likely: Noel recently said he can "never forgive" brother Liam for his past behavior, and Oasis' former manager said he "can't see a reunion happening."
