This PAX demo of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel shows us that low gravity and putting a limit on your oxygen only makes the Borderlands experience even more fun.

Gearbox Software and 2K Australia have teamed up to create Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and to narrate this gameplay demo that was showcased at PAX East 2014. As you can tell by the gameplay, the oxygen and gravity mechanics introduced into The Pre-Sequel make things really interesting. In particular, you can leap across massive chasms with ease and use your oxygen tank like a jet pack to help propel you even further.

In terms of weaponry, the ice and laser-based guns being added into the Borderlands arsenal are quite impressive. Nothing beats freezing your enemies in midair and watching them shatter when they collide into something solid. Laser beam weapons are always fun as well. Equipment-wise, your oxygen tank will have multiple statistics, such as maximum capacity, rate of decrease, recharge rate, etc.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be available sometime this fall for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
