The Seahawks wrapped up a surprising week of roster moves that saw fan favorites leave town by signing a solid practice squad.

Among the signees was last year's QB2, Trevone Boykin. Given his knowledge of the Hawk's offense this signing makes sense since his legal problems probably won't lead to practice squad suspensions.

The Seahawks also grabbed an offensive tackle from Notre Dame that could see regular season action. Jarron Jones, an undrafted free agent was actually a defensive tackle in college, but the Giants tried to convert him before cutting him. Sounds like the type of Seahawks offensive live project they like trying every year.

Also signed were running back Mike Davis, receiver Cyril Grayson, center Joey Hunt, receiver David Moore, defensive tackle Garrison Smith, tight end Tyrone Swoopes and cornerback Mike Tyson.

The depth the Seahawks think they have this year is very apparent when you consider both Tyson (sixth round) and Moore (seventh round) were 2017 draft picks and they could have been taken on waivers.
