Look out North America, Bring Me the Horizon are ready to invade these shores this fall, armed with a brand new studio album. After revealing that their forthcoming disc would be titled That's the Spirit, the band has now confirmed a Sept. 11 street date for the album as well as their first major North American tour in support of the effort.

The band will start their fall adventure on Oct. 1 in Orlando, Fla, with dates booked through the month until their tour finale at Slipknot's Knotfest in San Bernardino, Calif. on Oct. 25. Issues will provide support on a majority of the dates. Along the way, Bring Me the Horizon will make the festival rounds as well, participating in the Louder Than Life, Rock Allegiance and Aftershock festivals prior to the Knotfest finale. According to a Facebook post by the band, tickets will go on sale for the run this Friday.

Bring Me the Horizon have been holed away on the Greek island of Santorini working on their new disc. In a recent interview with NME, it was revealed that the group would make more inroads toward singing rather than screaming on the upcoming disc, offering a more balanced listen. Vocalist Oli Sykes also revealed that the album is a loose concept album, with the disc rooted in life's darker moods.

“It’s a celebration of depression," said Sykes. "A way of making light of it. That’s the Spirit — it’s quite a depressing phrase when you think about it — the sort of thing you only ever use when you know there’s no positive answer to the situation.”

The band also revealed that fans can look at their single "Drown" that arrived late last year as a teaser for what the new album will sound like. The group just released a new track called "Happy Song" earlier this month.
