True Or False? California Kid Survives 5-Hour Flight in Wheel Well of Plane [VIDEO]

I am finding this hard to believe: A 16-year-old kid survived in the wheel well of a jetliner during a five-hour flight to Hawaii? Not only do plane go up 35,000 feet or better, which would leave him with no oxygen at all, but he'd have had to endure at least 50 below zero. So a human would freeze.  But, the airline did discover him and the FBI questioned him for hours. Did this really happen like they say? And if so, this bothers me, because what a major breach of security.

If a kid can jump a fence and get into the wheel well, then anybody could. This is very scary to me. Airlines need to step it up. I should not have to remind anyone of 9/11.
