At the age of 41, even I cannot believe the amount of technological advancement I have seen in my life. It's almost impossible to think what some of the older folks in our society have lived through. While I have, basically, grown up with home video and microwave ovens my entire life, there are some who still recall the days before indoor plumbing and electricity!
It is even harder to imagine what the future will hold, but luckily there are people who are much brighter than me that can visualize and develop what can only be seen in the future.
It wouldn't be any wonder that H.P., Dell and other leading computer manufacturers believe the end of the computer as we know it is near. It's not the iPad that has them concerned about the future.

It is developments like the ones Corning is working on.
