I'm a huge retro gamer and have a ton of old Nintendo games. Over 600 to be exact. I was thinking about ridiculous challenges I could do to breath new life into my old video games and decided to start filming these challenges just for fun. My first one was trying to beat the first world of Super Mario Bros playing with an upside-down controller. Let's see what happens.
As soon as I found out Capcom was doing a remake of the classic DuckTales game, I was super excited. Even though the challenge isn't quite there, it's a fun, vibrant game. Now that this title is available for download, I ran home to get it almost as fast as I used to run home from school to watch the classic cartoon. I wasn't disappointed.
I love video games. Most people my age do, too, but it was a huge passion of mine growing up and continues still today. Someone asked me why I had so many old video game systems and games for them when all of these newer systems. The easy answer is, "because it's my collection," but why have a collection? Do I really get use out of all of my video game stuff I've collected over the years
As you may or may not know, I'm a retro gamer. I love new games, too, but have a passion for older video game, especially the 8-bit Nintendo. You can image my shock and awe when I found this yard sale selling his old NES games for only $1 each!
The Oculus Rift kind of a 'virtual reality' device you wear on your head so you can only see the video game you're playing and, when you look around in real life, your character matches that movement. There have been some pretty funny videos so far, but this may be my favorite. As a caption said, this guy is afraid of roller coasters so he rides this one on a computer. His reaction is priceless.

Two of my biggest passions are video games and playing musical instruments, whether I actually know how to play them or not. Combine them both and you have me attempting to play video game music. Instead of showing you boring videos of me trying to play music from Final Fantasy on the piano, where there are tons already available on the Internet, I'd rather show you how to play these songs so you
Let me start by saying I know nothing about stocks and bonds and share holdings and all of that. For my birthday this past April my family bought me stock in Nintendo. It came in this giant, framed, gaudy thing that's better compared to those checks they hand you in the Price is Right.
No matter how it's showcased, it turns out to be legit and I even got paid on it!
Super Mario Bros is one of the most iconic video games of all time. It's the game that turned Mario into a house-hold name, the music is legendary and video games today still use Super Mario Bros. as their main source of inspiration. It was the game that was included in the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in the mid-80s so it just missed the opportunity to be on the Atari 2600.

Over the weekend, I had a chance to go to the annual Seattle Retro Gaming Expo. It was an awesome experience as many of us who all share the same passion of retro gaming (and current gaming) all crammed into the Seattle Center for shopping, demonstrations and, of course, gaming. Here's what I saw.
