Central Washington State Fair Has A New Feature

The Central Washington State Fair opens this week, and I am looking forward to everything the fair has to offer. I have to be honest, though, I had no idea that the kids area was so educational. They have set up that part of the fair with some serious thought. I walked in and was immediately inspired.They have provided so many ideas for kids and maybe what they want to be when they grow up -- animal doctor, produce farmer, hay producer. But my favorite part of the kids educational area was their brand-new interactive milk cow.

They have respectfully called the new cow "Maybelle!" She talks to you and explains how she produces milk etc. While you are listening to Maybelle you can milk her at the same time. It is spectacular.
