Among the local kids we're spotlighting during Friday's (Oct. 26) Children's Miracle Network Radiothon is 4-year-old Shealynn, who was born four weeks early and spent three weeks in the NICU at Yakima's Virginia Mason Memorial.

Today, Shealynn's a cheerful, active little girl, but she lives with Prader-Will syndrome, the most common cause of childhood obesity. She's had Children's Village on her side all the way, though, as her mom and dad explain in the video above.

Now she and her parents are advocating for Children's Miracle Network to make sure other local kids and families will continue to get the help they need.
