Chris Cornell’s Opening Remarks To Sold Out Yakima Crowd At Capitol Theater [VIDEO]
I went to a Chris Cornell concert and a Tourette’s Syndrome convention broke out.
OK, that was an insensitive comment but in the words of the Soundgarden frontman himself, the fans in attendance at the Capitol Theatre were “spirited”.
Cornell was definitely receptive towards the showering of love being bestowed upon him by those in attendance. When he came out on stage for the first time to the delight of all, the crowed jumped to its feet in excitement. As you will see and hear, he told the audience it was OK to sit because it was going to be a long night of acoustic solo material as well as many gems from Audioslave, Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, Prince, Metallica, U2, Johnny Cash and more.
Two and a half hours later, he had proven to be correct.
