From Blabbermouth.com DISTURBED has been forced to bow out of the last four shows on the first leg of the "Music As A Weapon V" tour.

Canceling appearances in San Antonio, Texas on Wednesday night (February 9); McAllen, Texas on Thursday (February 10); Lubbock, Texas on Saturday (February 12); and Tulsa, Oklahoma on Monday (February 14). Co-headliners KORN reportedly played an extended set in DISTURBED's absence on Wednesday night, but it appears that the remaining three gigs have been postponed.

Sources told The Pulse Of Radio that cold weather at an outdoor show in Corpus Christi, Texas on Tuesday night (February 8) adversely affected the throat of DISTURBED singer David Draiman.

Doctors advised Draiman to take three weeks off, with no talking or singing.

The second leg of the tour, slated to begin on March 8 in Belton, Texas, will now start a few days earlier so that DISTURBED can make up the missed shows.
