For years now, Disturbed have demonstrated their support of U.S. troops stationed abroad. In March 2008 they traveled to the Middle East to visit soldiers in Kuwait and performed for troops in a show with Filter. Now, Disturbed have partnered with the USO to stage concerts for the airmen at Creech and Nellis Air Force Bases in Indian Springs, Nevada and Las Vegas on Oct. 23 and 24. respectively.

While they're at the bases, Disturbed will visit airmen to learn more about their work and and provide moral support. “We are honored every time we are able to perform for our troops and pay our respects to our service men and women,” said Disturbed guitarist Dan Donegan. “They sacrifice so much for their love of our country & we look forward to partnering with the USO for the first time as a Force Behind the Forces to bring them a moment of escape from all that they do for us on a daily basis.”

The USO is equally excited about Disturbed upcoming appointments. "Disturbed has an enthusiastic military fan base, and we at the USO are excited to bring them directly to the fans who appreciate them so much,” said USO Director of Entertainment Relationships, Mari Villalobos. “We hope this will be the first of many partnerships with them and other Warner Bros. Records artists as we continue to keep service members connected to family, home and country.”

Disturbed new album Evolution comes out Oct. 19.
