Downtown Summer Nights Hosts Great Kids’ Activities [VIDEO]

Not only does the Downtown Summer Nights concert series offer great music, food, and fun, it also has some great activities for children.

One of the goals of Downtown Summer Nights is to provide some fantastic entertainment in a family atmosphere. To that end, Yakima Neighborhood Health sponsors children's activities presented by Yakima Makers Space.

Here's a brief explanation of the type of things that take place each week.

Downtown Summer Nights is presented by Stewart Subaru with music powered by Chinook Fest, and brought to you by Townsquare Media and the city of Yakima, with kids' activities presented by Yakima Maker Space sponsored by Yakima Neighborhood Health. The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m. Admission is free, and the show is open to all ages. Food, drinks, adult beverages and merchandise are available for sale on site.

This week's music acts are Tango Alpha Tango, Shoot Jake, and Olivia De La Cruz.
