Someone Needs to bring back another Drive-In Theater! So much fun!

Today marks the 75th anniversary of Drive-Ins. Back in 1933 in Camden NJ a gentleman by the name Richard Hollingshead Jr. made the first drive in. Now there are hardly any drive ins any where.  There should be. Can somebody please get another drive in here.

I think that there are many benefits to having a Drive-In Movie Theater in Yakima Valley.  I do realize that the internet and pay preview has taken over most of the entertainment factor of this but it is good quality time with your family and friends.

I mean, it is something to do and a lot of fun, even before the movie starts.  The first time I went to a drive in movie theater is with my mom and dad and we saw Star Wars (the very first one) in SLC Utah! HAHA I had such a great time from what I remember. We all bonded as a family.

The second time I went was with my friends at the same movie theater and we watched "Pretty In Pink". I was such a Mormon at the time and all of the people in there cars were trying to get me and my friends to smoke pot and drink! HA There was no way that we were going to do that! I said to them at the drive in theater that "I am not going to hell like all of you" HA

The next time I went to the movie theater we watched the Re Release of "The Shining" and I realized that I wasn't going to go to hell! HA It was much more fun after that and we tried to see how many people we could actually get in side of my Mustang every time we went! I think we actually had at least ten people at one time in my 19641/2 Mustang! Most of us were really skinny!

My Favorite Drive In food will always be Popcorn and Milk Duds! Mixed together! The best! Chocolate Popcorn man! Yummy! Hopefully somebody really rich can just start another one with money that they could really care less about! They will be doing a great service with some people that "Just need to get out of the house"
