Fiesta Foods and Yakima Elks Lodge No. 318 present this year's Bite of Yakima, a community celebration of Yakima Valley’s unique offerings from local restaurants, confectioners, bakers, food trucks, agricultural producers and manufacturers.

The gathering, held at the Yakima Area Arboretum, offers diverse foods from chips and salsa to chocolates or sausage. This is your chance to become familiar with restaurants you’ve always wanted to try or to expand your palate. As you sample, regional wineries and brewers will offer distinctive beverages to compliment every taste.

Gates open at 11 a.m., and the event runs until 7 p.m.

The fun includes live entertainment, a kids area and voting in the “People’s Choice Awards."
