Exodus have joined Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett's inaugural Fear FestEvil 2014 horror and music event this coming February. The event will take place Feb. 6-8 at the Regency Ballroom in Hammett's hometown of San Francisco.

Hammett, who was an original member of Exodus before joining Metallica, recently announced that he was bringing the horror fest to the Bay Area. Exodus joined a music lineup that already included Death Angel, Carcass and Orchid. In addition, Hammett revealed that other special guests at the event will include fellow horror buffs Anthrax's Scott Ian and Slash, as well as Greg Nicotero ('The Walking Dead'), PJ Soles, Tom Savini ('Dawn of the Dead'), John A. Russo ('Night of the Living Dead'), Kane Hodder, Haruo Nakajima ('Godzilla'), and Jeffrey Combs and Barbra Crampton.

Hammett will also showcase his extensive horror collection, which he's featured during Metallica's last two Orion Music + More festivals. For additional Fear FestEvil information, stay tuned to the event website.

As for Exodus, the band is back in the studio working on new material for a prospective release in 2014.
