Black Friday quickly turned into Good Friday -- maybe Great Friday -- as Faith No More announced they'd be playing a free show at Amoeba Records in San Francisco last night (Nov. 28).

You read that right: Faith No More, who haven't played a live show in the U.S. in nearly four years, were going to play a free show inside a record store.

The gig was in support of their latest single, 'Motherf--ker' -- their first new studio recording in almost two decades. The tune was released as a Record Store Day Black Friday exclusive 7-inch yesterday, so the concert couldn't have come at a better time. You can watch the first part of the show (via a fan in the crowd) in the video above, and the second half below:

Faith No More bookended their set with new music, opening the evening with 'Motherf--ker' and closing things out with the yet-to-be-released song, 'Superhero' (check out the full setlist below). We know they're hard at work on their next studio album, which should get in our hands sometime in 2015, so hopefully this seemingly impromptu performance is just the first of many throughout the states.

And as we wait for the next surprise up their sleeves, check out some first-hand shots from the Amoeba show via Faith No More's Twitter account:

If you're curious what the show looked like from the back, check out this fan footage of 'As the Worm Turns' -- the crowd is lined up in and out of all the aisles in Amoeba:
