San Francisco alternative metal icons Faith No More are celebrating the release of their first new album in 18 years, Sol Invictus. The band took its live show to the set of Last Call With Carson Daly this week for a couple of tracks; you can watch them perform the ragged single "Superhero" from last night's (May 19) show in the video above.

On Monday night (May 18), the band performed its older hit, "Epic," last night (May 18) -- you can check that out in the video below.

Faith No More, who reunited in 2009 after calling it quits in 1998, toured under the bill, The Second Coming Tour, for nearly four years before announcing plans for Sol Invictus. Their commitment to touring, as well as the new album, are clear statements that they're back and have just as much energy as ever.

(Since they pride themselves on their live presence, check out our review of their recent gig at New York City's Webster Hall here.)

Faith No More will head to Europe on May 29 in support of the new record before returning to the U.S. for a handful of dates, kicking off on July 26 in Austin and wrapping up at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Aug. 5. They will then head to Canada and South America. You can check out all of their currently scheduled tour dates and stay up-to-date with them via their official website.
