Fatal Crash On Summitview
A fatal traffic accident, involving a semi-truck and a motorcycle, on Summitview (between Pioneer and Mill Rd.) has forced it's closure until further notice. The man riding the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver in the semi was not hurt. Washington State Patrol is investigating. It could take a couple of hours until the road is open. Stay tuned for updates.
The month of May is "Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month." As the weather gets better and more cyclists begin to hit the streets, this should be a good reminder for all to all to share the road.
