With a song title like 'Wrecking Ball,' you kind of know what you're going to get from Five Finger Death Punch. No, it's not a cover of the current Miley Cyrus hit, it's a hard-hitting tune off the 5FDP's upcoming album, 'The Wrong Side of Heaven and The Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 2.'

In the band's latest track-by-track commentary video [via HitFix.com], 5FDP singer Ivan Moody says the song comes from his own personal experience. He relates, "Everyone who knows me or has heard rumors or stories or whatever knows that I have a tendency to lose it every now and then. I've never been shy about it either. So that song encompasses the other Ivan, the monster."

Speaking of "the monster," guitarist Zoltan Bathory laughs that Moody's frustration level was peaking on the track as they were in the process of finishing out the double-album recording sessions. Bathory says that on occasion they give Moody a little more grief just to get him in the right mindset, and that's evident on 'Wrecking Ball.'

The song also came together on the road, and guitarist Jason Hook shares a little nuance that came with how 'Wrecking Ball' came to be in the video above.

'Wrecking Ball' appears on 'The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 2,' which is due Nov. 19. Pre-orders are available at this location. For the other 'Wrong Side of Heaven, Volume 2' webisodes, see the videos below:
