For those counting, it's Foo Fighters 2, Westboro Baptist Church 0. Back in 2011 when the Foo Fighters cruised into Kansas City, the Westboro Baptist Church decided to protest the show, no doubt spurred on by the band's humorous truck stop shower characters from their "Keep It Clean (Hot Buns)" tour promo. The church, known for picketing military funerals and spouting off about how God hates homosexuals, protested the band then and were met with the Foos rolling by the protest in a flatbed truck as the truck stop characters and serenading the picketers.

Flash forward to 2015 and the Westboro Baptist Church decided to take another shot at picketing the band. But once again, Foo Fighters got the better of them. In the video above, you see the group rolling in on a flatbed truck, first blasting "American Idiot" from Green Day as they turn the corner to the venue. But after a few seconds, they pulled up closer to the protesters and the music immediately changed to Rick Astley's '80s dance anthem "Never Gonna Give You Up."

A closeup of the truck shows Taylor Hawkins carrying a sign that says "You Got Rick Rolled." Meanwhile, other members of the band and their crew turned the back of the truck into a dance party. Once again, the group took the attention off the protesters and put it right on themselves … in hilarious fashion.

Check out their initial 2011 flatbed truck performance below, while the new "Rick Roll" version can be seen above.
