Getting Lost In The YWCA Catacombs While Delivering Food From 10 Deeds In 10 Days

The 2016 version of the 10 Deeds in 10 Days charity drive with Bill Harris Used Cars officially ended on Sunday. Today we got to deliver the food we collected and the cash to the various charities who benefit. One of those charities is the YWCA. At first I picked up 2 fairly heavy boxes of canned food thinking "I'm a big strong man, I can handle it". What I didn't know was how far into their building they store the food.

It turns out that their food storage area is like 5 miles underground. Okay, I'm exaggerating a bit but we did have to walk a long way and after awhile I thought we might be lost. The only reason I kept going is a heard a faint voice from a distance that said "kee ee eep, oo oo oon, goi ee eeing". It felt like that scene in the movie Spinal Tap where Nigel Tufnel, David St. Hubbins and Derek Smalls get lost in the endless catacombs under the stage in the theatre they were performing in.
