If you ever wanted to know what the hallowed halls of Machine Head’s tour bus look like, now you can check it out. Machine Head guitarist and official tour guide Phil Demmel invites fans on board for a tour of their big rig in a new video.

Demmel starts at the front of the bus, showing off their front lounge area, where he explains, “all the karaoke to Journey and Bon Jovi happens – sometimes.” Hmmm, where are those videos Phil!

Demmel said the band usually listens to ESPN throughout the morning before their day starts, and points out a bulletin board on the bus showing that it use to belong to pop star Rihanna.

Like a true pro, Demmel takes the Digital Tour Bus team through the bus, step by step, stopping in the kitchen at a fruit bowl where Demmel admits, “Metal heads like fruit too.” Who knew!

The tour ends at bunk alley where we can only presume all the magic happens, until Demmel kills that myth with his fuzzy math, explaining, “twelve bunks for nine people equals three junk bunks!” So basically the remaining bunks serve as storage space for the band.

Demmel shows off his own personal bunk too calling it a “little slice of heaven.”
