Grimes and Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard both walked off the stage at their respective concerts on June 15.

In the middle of her opening performance for Florence + the Machine at Barclays in Brooklyn, Grimes told the audience, “We just had a really disturbing thing happen to us today, so sorry if my voice is shaking. It’s just kind of a f---ed day." She sang “World Princess part II” off 2015’s Art Angels, then ended her set, according to Pitchfork.

Her representatives told Pitchfork that they could not comment on the incident. Grimes has said in past interviews that she suffers from panic attacks, which she notes have gradually improved with each tour.

Grimes aka Claire Boucher experienced another concert malady in March 2016 when she was shocked by her guitar pedal in Dublin.

Meanwhile, Gibbard was apparently pelted by an unruly fan at Death Cab’s Volvo Car Stadium concert in Charleston, South Carolina. In the middle of “Soul Meets Body” off 2005’s Plans, the frontman unplugged his guitar, removed his earplugs, attempted to continue singing but ultimately walked off. Drummer Jason McGerr and attendees in the pit can be seen in a video pointing at a man who was allegedly throwing things at Gibbard.

“A couple of drunken pock-faced jagoffs were being seriously obnoxious and ruining the show for everyone around them by singing louder than the band and trying to make their own mosh pit,” concertgoer Liz (no last name given) posted on Consequence of Sound.

Gibbard returned for a two-song encore of “Passenger Seat” and “Transatlanticism” about 15 minutes after he went backstage.
