The lineup has been set for the third annual M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, Maryland.

Among the headliners for the two-day festival at the Merriweather Post Pavilion are some of the biggest metal acts of the ’80s, including Whitesnake, Kix, Warrant, Tesla, Sebastian Bach and Lita Ford.

The M3 Rock Festival began in 2009, celebrating the age of metal with such artists as Twisted Sister, Ratt, Extreme and Dokken. Last year, the lineup included Scorpions, Cinderella, Vince Neil and Winger. Based on the success of those two single-day events, promoter and organizer I.M.P. has expanded the event this year to two days, with the following lineup:

Friday, May 13:

L.A. Guns

Saturday, May 14:

Sebastian Bach
Lita Ford
Mr. Big
Great White
Danger Danger
Big Noize
Black ’n Blue
Faster Pussycat
Pretty Boy Floyd

Tickets will be available for pre-sale on February 3 and will go on sale to the general public on February 4. For more information, visit the official M3 Rock Festival website.  (Story from )
