Happy May Day!

The old saying "April showers bring May flowers" is no more evident than on the first day in the month of May.

Of course, the wise-ass follow-up question, "What do May flowers bring?  The pilgrims!" is lost on most after the age of six.

There are many traditions associated with this day, one of which is putting a basket of flowers on somebody's doorstep, knocking, and then running off to hide and watch the unsuspecting person's reaction.

Personally, I'm waiting until later this evening to celebrate with my smokin' hot wife when we will decorate and dance around the May pole!
