Help! I’m Addicted to the Gourmet Licorice from the Central Washington State Fair

Hello, my name is John and I have an addiction to those two-and-a-half foot licorice ropes you can only get at the Central Washington State Fair.

It started out as a simple curiosity. I walked by, the length caught my eye. I spoke to the lady behind the counter for a brief moment as I was in a hurry to get to where I needed to be but promised I'd stop by on the way out. After I finished my job, man of my word, I came back. This time it was a man. I told him I wanted to grab five just to try them out, chose my five, bought one more after the sale for five extra dollars and went on my way.

My intention was to share with my kids, and I let them chose theirs but when I took my first bite, I was in heaven.

I'm not a huge fan of licorice to begin with, but there's something special about this one. Like, it's more than just licorice. It's a gummy rope of taffy or something. Hard to pinpoint but I do know I need to stop back by before the end of the fair to grab more.
