It rocked the '60s and still holds up today as a true rock anthem. We're t-t-talking 'bout "My Generation," the Who classic that has been covered by all-star outfit Hollywood Vampires. You can get your first listen to the Hollywood Vampires version of the song in the player above.

The lineup for this version of the song finds Alice Cooper delivering the anthemic vocals with a well weathered flare and fellow core member Johnny Depp joining Tommy Henriksen in laying down some blistering guitar work. Bassist Bruce Witkin and drummer Zak Starkey deliver the low end and keep the song rocking.

For those unfamiliar, Hollywood Vampires is an all-star project led by Cooper, actor Johnny Depp and Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, who each appear on a majority of the songs. The group also features some high profile guest starts like Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Christopher Lee, Dave Grohl, Brian Johnson, Joe Walsh, Robby Krieger, Perry Farrell and Slash among others.

The track listing for the album includes classics like Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love," Jimi Hendrix's "Manic Depression" and a medley of Cooper's own "School's Out" with Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2" mixed in for good measure. The self-titled Hollywood Vampires disc is due Sept. 11 with artist proceeds being directed to MusiCares.

Hollywood Vampires will play a pair of gigs at the famous Hollywood Sunset Strip venue The Roxy on Sept. 16 and 17. At present that is the band's only scheduled U.S. shows. They'll also appear at Brazil's Rock in Rio festival on Sept. 24.
