Honoring Our Veterans — Kelly West Honors Her Father Today

Today (Nov. 11) is Veterans Day. In my opinion, it is the greatest holiday in the world. We are free because of these men and woman who have fought for our honor! My father was in the United States Army during the Korean War. He is my favorite veteran!

My father, Orval, was the greatest man who will ever be. He was raised with some amazing values and when he became a United States Army man he got even more values that he instilled in me.

I thank my father Orval every single day of my life. He has passed away, but he will never be forgotten. Not only for being an amazing man, but being a true United States American hero!
