Brush Fire Closes I-90 from Vantage to George

Eastbound and westbound traffic on Interstate 90 is closed between Vantage and George because of a brush fire that started Monday afternoon. Firefighters subdued the fire, but it reignited this morning (July 21).

Authorities are working to control the fire and reopen the freeway, but the Washington State Department of Transportation advises travelers to steer clear of the route until further notice.
